Elliot deBruyn (elliotdebruyn.com<\/a>) is a documentary and commercial cinematographer and editor. He currently works as a visual journalist for The New York Times, and in the last few years has worked on Emmy-nominated and Peabody award-winning projects at the Times. From 2012 to 2019, he lived and worked in Asia, traveling and creating non-fiction and commercial films in China, Japan, Korea, Inner Mongolia, Bangladesh, India, Kyrgyzstan, Tanzania, Italy, France, Sweden, the Netherlands, Iceland, and the U.S. He currently works on short- and long-form documentaries and journalistic stories across the nation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
