Jennifer Archibald debuts an extraordinary full-length world premiere inspired by the classic novel Lord of the Flies at BalletX’s Festival at the Mann, May 2-3. “Archibald has distinguished herself as a courageous choreographer who can uncover difficult histories and make strides towards greater understanding and connections among people.” (Dance Magazine) She is a genre-defying trailblazer—sought after by premier dance companies, elite commercial clients, and chart-listed artists from around the world.
Noelle Kayser, BalletX’s 2025 Choreographic Fellow, will premiere her new ballet at Summer Series 2025. Noelle will work under the mentorship of choreographer Marguerite Donlon. The Choreographic Fellowship is made possible with generous support from the Wyncote Foundation, at the recommendation of David Haas.
Noelle Kayser is a Chicago-based choreographer, director, and multi-disciplinary performer and the founder and director of NK // COLLAB. She is the resident choreographer for Open Space and a 2024 Whim W’him Choreographic Shindig Winner.
Marguerite Donlon is an international contemporary choreographer based between Germany and Ireland. She has been director and house choreographer for the Saarland State Ballet, Ballet Hagen, and Dance Company Osnabrück at Theatre Osnabrück, Germany, and created over 100 works to worldwide critical acclaim.
