20th Anniversary Retrospective at the Suzanne Roberts Theatre
A sweeping two-program retrospective of BalletX’s most celebrated works by choreographers including Jorma Elo, Nicolo Fonte, Jodie Gates, Darrell Grand Moultrie, Edwaard Liang, Caili Quan, Dwight Rhoden, and Nicola Wills, plus a world premiere by Keelan Whitmore.

Discover new voices and ideas at BalletX in Bryn Mawr with a program of three World Premieres by Choreographic Fellow Christian Denice and BalletX company artists Itzkan Barbosa and Lanie Jackson.

A retrospective celebrating Matthew Neenan, BalletX co-founder and “one of America’s best dance poets” (New York Times), featuring Broke Apart (2006), Show Me (2015), and a World Premiere with original live music by Scott Ordway.

BalletX presents The Four Seasons Reimagined, an immersive, open-air spectacular co-commissioned with the Mann Center and ArtPhilly featuring original composition and live music by Dan Deacon with World Premieres by Trey McIntyre, Jamar Roberts, Morgann Runacre-Temple, and Penny Saunders.

Summer Series at the Suzanne Roberts Theatre
Annabelle Lopez Ochoa’s delightful BalletX classic The Little Prince (2019) returns to stage, inspired by the timeless novella of adventure and enlightenment by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry and featuring live music by composer Peter Salem.
