"Remember, you are a creator and a creator must create. If not for others, do it for yourself."

Jared Kelly trained at The Washington School of Ballet, Baltimore School for the Arts, and Indiana University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Ballet and Marketing. Before joining BalletX in June of 2022, he was a company dancer with Ballet Tucson under the direction of Mary Beth Cabana and Minnesota Dance Theatre under the direction of Lise Houlton.
With a broad repertoire of experience, Jared has performed works by George Balanchine, Martha Graham, Mark Morris, Jerome Robbins, Twyla Tharp, and Paul Taylor to name a few. Since joining BalletX, he has premiered works by creators such as Amy Hall Garner, Jamar Roberts, Jennifer Archibald, Gary W. Jeter II, Nicola Wills, Natasha Adorlee, and Tiler Peck, among many others.
His choreographic premieres include River of Dreams (2023) and Let Go and Jam (2024) at BalletX’s annual gala, The Premier Party: A Celebration of World Premiere Choreography, and Protector (2024), which debuted at the Phillies stadium for a Youth Empowerment Day.
